Safety Pins, are they really safe?
Their sharp ends poking me, like
Needles to my heart. I fall, but I
Can't get back up. I heard you but
You're not there. It's just in my head
As I wake up from this impossible
Nightmare of a day dream, then I
Realize this is not a dream, It's real life.
